Independent by design — and clear about what that means.
Veridan is not appointed by any manufacturer. We are a sourcing agent working for the client, buying the specified hardware through legitimate, authorized supply channels and landing it in Jamaica.
What We Are
An independent sourcing agent, working for the specification — not for a brand.
Veridan Limited is an independent commercial door hardware sourcing agent. We are not an authorized dealer, distributor, representative, or agent of any manufacturer referenced on this site, and we hold no appointment, franchise, or territory from any of them.
That independence is the point. We are not carrying one manufacturer’s line and steering every schedule towards it. We source what the architect specified, from whichever origin can supply it correctly and on time.
Where a manufacturer or a brand is named anywhere on this site, it is named for one reason only: to identify the product being discussed. It is never a claim that the manufacturer has appointed, endorsed, certified, or approved Veridan.
Where It Comes From
Legitimate, authorized supply channels across three countries of origin.
Authorized distribution
We buy through legitimate, authorized supply channels in the US, UK, and Canada — distributors and suppliers who are themselves authorized to sell the lines they carry. The authorization sits with them; Veridan is their customer, the same as any other buyer on the account.
Genuine product
What lands on site is factory product in its original manufacturer packaging, matched to the schedule on manufacturer, model, function, and finish. If a specified item cannot be obtained through those channels, we say so and put the alternatives in front of you — we do not substitute quietly.
Warranty documentation
Every delivery arrives with its manufacturer warranty documentation for the project close-out file. The warranty is the manufacturer’s, on the manufacturer’s terms — Veridan does not issue it, extend it, or administer it, and we will tell you plainly what a given warranty does and doesn’t cover before you order.
Why We Name Brands
Architects specify products, not parent companies.
A hardware schedule doesn’t say “a Grade 1 exit device from a large manufacturing group.” It says the brand and the model. So our site, our quotes, and our articles say them too — because that is the only way to confirm, item by item, that what you specified is what you are being quoted and what will be delivered.
Using a manufacturer’s name to identify goods we genuinely source is ordinary and descriptive. It is not a partnership, an appointment, or a badge. All product names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
We also do not reproduce manufacturers’ own catalogue descriptions or specification text as though it were ours. Where you need the manufacturer’s published data, we point you at it — see the catalogue and spec sheet library.
